Originally restricted to the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita, World of Final Fantasy’s “classic RPG gameplay mechanics with fresh and imaginative visuals” are coming to Steam on November 21, 2017.

“Players will capture, customise and evolve a variety of familiar Final Fantasy creatures using innovative stacking mechanics to form powerful monster towers and battle dangerous foes,” said publisher Square Enix. “Alongside their team of iconic creatures and characters from the Final Fantasy series, players join siblings Reynn and Lann on their adventure to uncover the mysteries and secrets in the vast land of Grymoire.”

The Steam version will feature Steam trading cards, achievements, “full” keyboard and controller support, plus “several bonus legendary creatures and characters, including Sephiroth, Balthier, White Chocobo, Glow Moogle and many more.”

Cough up for a pre-order between now and November 28 and you’ll qualify for the Day One Edition, which includes a digital soundtrack and “a stunning wallpaper.”

Don’t forget, Final Fantasy XV is currently getting a crossover event with historical action series Assassin’s Creed, running from now until the end of January next year. Notcis and pals donning hidden blades, freerunning across rooftops, and jumping into haystacks like Ezio wannabes. Bless.

Short. Sweary. Sarky. Streamer. Spartan. Story-driven games make me happiest. Spectacularly bad at shooters, but loves them. Screams a lot playing horror games, but loves those, too.
