Sony has enabled two-step verification for PlayStation Network accounts.

The extra security measures come five years after the PlayStation network was hacked, leaking the details of 77 million accounts and taking the whole network offline for several days.

To set up two-step security, log into your PSN account online and then add your phone number. You’ll get a code sent to your phone, and from then on, you’ll need an additional code from your approved phone number when logging into a console, accessing your account online or via the app, protecting your personal and credit card details.

Short. Sweary. Sarky. Streamer. Spartan. Story-driven games make me happiest. Spectacularly bad at shooters, but loves them. Screams a lot playing horror games, but loves those, too.
