Bandai Namco has revealed a new multiplayer mode, playable character, and open beta for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

With twice the amount of quests previously available – including new versions of parallel quests from the first game – players will be also able to access ranked and unranked matches, along with endless fights.

Players will be able to “embody one of the most awaited and emblematic characters from the Dragon Ball Z universe”, Majin Vegeta, and access a new 6v1 mode Expert Mission which Bandai promises will “challenge even the best of players in a very entertaining way as six players try to take down a single NPC boss“.

If you’re intrigued, you’ll be able to try and before you buy with an as-yet unscheduled European open beta which promises players the opportunity to explore Conton City and try out the new Expert Missions.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is out for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 28.

Short. Sweary. Sarky. Streamer. Spartan. Story-driven games make me happiest. Spectacularly bad at shooters, but loves them. Screams a lot playing horror games, but loves those, too.
