The folks over at Gameblog have received more information about the as-of-yet unannounced Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection.

Following on from it being leaked through the Korean ratings board, Gameblog has received a promotional image and information from an unnamed source who is linked to the distribution of the game.

They claim that the collection will include Assassin’s Creed 2, Brotherhood and Revelations, with all of their DLCs, in 1080p and 30FPS. The textures, which look a tad on the blurry side these days, will be getting a facelift, which might explain why this is at 30 and not 60FPS. We still don’t know if multiplayer modes will be included, but there were three multiplayer-focused DLC packs for Brotherhood which suggests they might well be making a comeback.

The pack will also include two animated films surrounding the trilogy. This is probably Ascendance, which connects AC2 and Brotherhood, and Embers, which finishes off Ezio’s story and introduced Chronicles: China’s lead Shao Jun. There is no word on whether it will include the live-action Lineage prequel series, however if the other two are included, it would be a very bizarre omission.

The collection is expected to launch for current-gen consoles this November at a lower price than standard entries in the series.

Joe is LPVG’s resident hardware nerd. If it’s overpriced and has gaudy RGB lighting, he’s probably drooling over it. He loves platformers, MMOs, RPGs, hack ‘n slashers and FPS, with his favourite games being Mirror’s Edge, Left 4 Dead, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Oblivion and Dead Space. Don’t ask him about his unhealthily large Monsters Inc memorabilia collection. Seriously, just don’t ask…
