Square Enix has confirmed that Lethal Weapon star Gary Busey will appear in Hitman as the next Elusive Target.

Starting on Thursday July 21, You have seven days to find and take down Busey in the “The Wildcard” mission. Busey was selected as the target following a Battle of the Garies showdown between Busey and Gary Cole.

The next main instalment of the episodic Hitman game is releasing tomorrow, July 19, 2016.

“An Elusive Target is the closest thing to the Hitman fantasy that we’ve ever created,” developer Io Interactive said on the Hitman Blog. “Each one is a custom-created character with their own backstory and their own unique reason for being in that location.

‘We call them Elusive Targets because they are added to an existing location for a limited time in real-time and you’ll only have one chance to take them down. If you kill them, that’s the way that you killed them. There are no do-overs and no second chances. When an Elusive Target leaves the game world, they never return.”

The targets won’t pop up on the in-game map, or via Instinct — you’ll have to specifically and deliberately track them down with limited intel. Oh, and your option to save has been disabled.

Your reward? New clothes, apparently. For five successfully completed missions you’ll receive new threads in the style of the “signature suit” from Hitman: Absolution. Complete ten missions and you’ll secure the signature suit from Blood Money. Future rewards “will include versions of those suits with gloves”. Rad.

Hitman is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Short. Sweary. Sarky. Streamer. Spartan. Story-driven games make me happiest. Spectacularly bad at shooters, but loves them. Screams a lot playing horror games, but loves those, too.
